Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Phoenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Bracha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phoenix comes to the cage accompanied by Oh la!!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Bracha there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Phoenix will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Phoenix tries to stall but Bracha uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bracha has Phoenix pressed against the cage. He pushes Phoenix back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Bracha throws a beautiful elbow that sends Phoenix crashing to the floor! Bracha piles on the pressure with more strikes! Phoenix is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eli Bracha!
