Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cha jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hayes leaves Cha with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hayes throws a leg kick but Cha sees it coming and moves out of range.
A big right from Cha misses.
Hayes moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Cha blocks a head kick by Hayes.
Hayes swinging wildly here.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cha, as that shot connected.
Cha shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hayes as he jumps to the side.
Hayes ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hayes moves away from the strike by Cha.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hayes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cha loads up on a big right hand but Hayes slips the punch.

Cha gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hayes looking to sit in guard and control but Cha gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cha is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Cha won't allow Hayes to sweep him here.
Cha wants to pass the guard but Hayes is keeping the position.
Cha pushing down on Hayes's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Hayes is defending against the submission attempts here by Cha.
Cha working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Hayes's thigh. Hayes counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Cha cracks Hayes with a solid left hand.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Cha has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hayes doesn't defend quickly enough and Cha has managed to lock this one up! Can Hayes escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Cha on a fantastic submission victory.
