Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vale Valhall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitchell Stehling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valhall comes to the cage accompanied by Amon Amarth - Valhall Awaits Me. Stehling is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Turmion Kätilöt - Minä MÄÄRÄÄN!. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stehling tries to work over Valhall's front leg with a kick but Valhall checks it.

Stehling closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Valhall is looking to improve his position.
Stehling is taking a breather. Valhall says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Stehling is pressing down on Valhall's thigh, looking to free his foot. Valhall is holding on for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stehling pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Valhall is squirming around, avoiding Stehling's attempts to control the action.
Stehling might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Valhall kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Stehling wants to pass to mount but Valhall is defending the position.
Valhall tries to get to full guard but Stehling has control of the leg.
Valhall is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Valhall has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stehling is working away from the top position though.
Stehling throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Stehling prevents Valhall from getting back to his feet.
Stehling is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Stehling ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Valhall moves away.
Valhall throws the left hand but Stehling avoids the punch easily.
Stehling connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Stehling throws a chopping leg kick but Valhall manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Valhall tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stehling was well out of range. Poor timing from Valhall.
Valhall lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Valhall fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stehling manages to avoid it.

Valhall scores with a jab. Stehling acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Valhall tries to clinch but Stehling moves away

Stehling shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Valhall sprawls well. Valhall wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stehling gets slowly back to his feet.
