Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hemangio Blastoma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aurturo Gatti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatti has Blastoma up against the cage in a clinch.
Gatti pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gatti shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blastoma but Blastoma pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Blastoma delivers a nice body kick.
Blastoma looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Gatti wanted to stand there but Blastoma had control of the position.
Blastoma looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gatti is one step ahead there.

Blastoma knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gatti on the ground.
Gatti throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Blastoma works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Blastoma could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Aurturo Gatti has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Blastoma tries a head kick but it misses.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Blastoma misses with a head kick.
Gatti shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hemangio Blastoma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aurturo Gatti.
Gatti drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Gatti drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gatti jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Blastoma is breathing heavily.
Gatti is looking to stand up but Blastoma won't let him.
Blastoma on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Blastoma tries to get out of the position.
Gatti controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Gatti sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Blastoma's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Gatti might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Aurturo Gatti.
Gatti drives through and clinches with Blastoma against the cage.
Gatti has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Blastoma uses from the top position.
Gatti looking to hit a scissor sweep but Blastoma is one step ahead there.
Blastoma has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gatti to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Blastoma is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gatti pulls down on the head and he's put Blastoma to sleep! This one is all over!
