The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos shoots in for a takedown but Orlan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Santos tries for a takedown but Orlan circles away easily
and Orlan counters with a thumping low kick.
A low kick from Orlan is predictable there
and Santos counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Orlan misses with a head kick.
Santos scores with a shot to the body.
Santos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Santos moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Orlan has worked his arm free - good work by Orlan!
Orlan is pushing Santos 's head away, looking to escape. Santos manages to hold on to the position though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Santos swings around for an armbar but Orlan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Santos 's guard.
Santos pushes a forearm under Orlan's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Orlan is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
