Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Strong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Groot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Groot's choice of entrance music: Beautiful Death - Wintersun. Oliver Strong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 1, fighting out of London, Oliver Strong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ramon Groot!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Strong closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Groot to the mat! Groot manages to get full guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Groot is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Strong is aware though and is defending well.

Groot looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Strong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Groot swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Groot had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Strong defends it easily.
Strong postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Groot has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Strong can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Strong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Strong accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Strong wants to control from the top but Groot keeps moving.

Groot working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Strong doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Strong manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Strong seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Groot is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Groot is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Strong throws a big right hand that misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Groot has his feet on Strong's thighs here. He's pushed Strong off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Strong screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
