Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slater has chosen Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jack Slater was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Gracie throws a lazy right hand but Slater sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Slater misses with a straight right.
Slater throws a big shot that misses.
Slater changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Slater misses with a wild body shot.
Slater takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Slater fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Slater missing with a left hand there. Gracie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A slow jab from Slater misses its intended target.
Slater looks to score with a jab to the body but Gracie is just out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gracie.
Slater lands a jab to Gracie's midsection.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Slater misses with a hook. Gracie ducked under it nicely.

A swing and a miss from Slater.
Slater changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Slater fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Slater throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gracie avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Slater is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Slater misses with a looping right.
Slater rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gracie counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Good standup being displayed there by Slater as he connects with a hook.

It looks like Carlos Gracie has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Slater throws a shot from downtown. Gracie moves away and avoids it.
Gracie misses with a wild body shot.
Slater lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gracie at a distance.
Gracie drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

A big left from Slater misses.
Slater connects with a nice looking jab.
Slater loads up on a big right hand but Gracie slips the punch.

Slater lands a big right hand that sends Gracie crashing to the mat! Slater stays standing though and waves Gracie back to his feet!

Gracie is rocked!
Gracie gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Slater gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Gracie is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
