Knish comes to the cage accompanied by Big Ten Inch by Areosmith. Straus has chosen THE JOKER as his entrance music. Jack Straus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Straus!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Straus. Knish does a little dance to reset his feet.
Knish defending well as Straus loads up on a big left hand.
Knish lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Straus misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Straus tries a head kick but it misses.
A solid leg kick lands there for Knish.
Knish throws a low kick but Straus avoids it.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Knish for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Straus swings wildly with an uppercut but Knish uses good head movement to avoid it.

Straus is trying to push Knish away but Knish has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Straus throws a knee to the head but misses.
Knish lands with a short shot to the head.
Straus misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Knish throws a head punch that misses.
Knish can't find room to land a body shot as Straus controls the action.

Straus is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Knish is defending well for now.

Knish lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Knish tries to land knees in the clinch but Straus avoids the damage to the body.
Knish is trying to stall.
Straus is trying to break the clinch but Knish has him pressed against the cage.
Straus tries to work over Knish's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Knish misses with a body punch.
Straus is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Knish misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Straus.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Straus.
Straus blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Straus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Straus throws a poor cross that misses
and Knish counters with a slapping leg kick.
Knish throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Straus looks gassed!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Knish feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Straus's calf.
Knish paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Knish scores with a body shot.
Straus stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Knish.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Knish lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Decent striking displayed by Knish there.
Knish tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Knish with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Knish closes the distance and clinches.
Knish pressing his opponent against the cage.

Knish throws an elbow but it misses.
Straus swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Knish softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Straus throws a punch but it's blocked by Knish.
Straus dodges an elbow strike from Knish.
Straus letting Knish take a breather here.
Straus prevents a body shot from Knish.
Straus misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Straus blocks an elbow strike.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nice body punch from Straus.
Knish is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Knish fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Straus walks into a jab.
Knish is looking to chop away at Straus's legs.
Straus thows a body shot but no joy.
Knish connects with a leg kick. Straus looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Knish lands a jab to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Knish fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Straus on the side of the head.

Knish lands a big head kick that sends Straus tumbling to the mat! Knish takes a step backwards and waves Straus back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Straus is rocked!


It looks like Jack Straus has been cut.
Knish lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Straus up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Knish from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Straus's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joey Knish!
