The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miguel tries a head kick but it misses.
Mcushin gets a clinch.
Mcushin looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Miguel throws a head punch that misses.
Mcushin tries a knee to the head but Miguel blocks it.
Mcushin misses with a body punch.
Mcushin manages to break the clinch.
Miguel throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mcushin tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Miguel is in Mcushin's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Miguel pushes down on Mcushin's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Miguel passes to side control.
Mcushin tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Miguel presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Mcushin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miguel on the ground.
Miguel throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Mcushin has his hands clasped together but Miguel breaks the hold and Mcushin is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Miguel!
