The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hummel shoots in and drives through. Ballbag sprawls well.
Ballbag scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hummel tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Hummel is trying to get back to half guard.
A lull in the action here as Ballbag stalls from top position.
Hummel regains half guard.
Hummel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ballbag's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ballbag's back!
Hummel looking to break Ballbag's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Ballbag remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Hummel will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ballbag really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hummel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hummel is really struggling to control Ballbag but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hummel lands punches and elbows.
Ballbag is in bad spot here.
Ballbag just trying to survive but Hummel is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
