The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miles thuds a left hand into Guida's body.
Guida takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Guida shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Miles pinned against the cage. Miles gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Miles scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Miles cracks Guida with an open hand slap.
Miles thuds a left hand into Guida's body.
Miles scores with a jab.
Miles lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Miles's corner calls for a 1-2. Miles obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Miles connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Miles throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Miles misses with a head kick.
Miles scores with a hook.
Roger Miles is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Guida moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A nice leg kick lands there from Miles.
Miles bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Guida's head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Miles, as that shot connected.
Guida shoots in but Miles avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Miles thuds his right hand into Guida's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Miles lands the left hand.
Guida takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A jab from Miles finds it's way through Guida's defenses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Guida moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Miles lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Guida looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Miles!
Guida looks gassed!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Miles is looking to improve his position but Guida isn't that keen on the idea.
Miles takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Guida looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Miles covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
