Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jarppi Huhtis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mali Kolom!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolom misses with a takedown attempt - Huhtis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kolom drops his hands momentarily. Huhtis doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Kolom staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Kolom doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jarppi Huhtis!
