Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Mitchel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchel keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stark throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Mitchel fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stark looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Mitchel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stark circles away quickly and effectively.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mitchel is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Stark off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Stark has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Mitchel's body.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Mitchel counters with a nice uppercut.

Stark looks to land a left hand but Mitchel moved out of range nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Stark's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Mitchel stuffs the takedown.
Stark lands a jab.

Stark is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mitchel can do to turn this around?
Mitchel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No luck for Stark with that takedown attempt.

Stark shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mitchel as he avoids it easily.

Mitchel takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Mitchel pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Stark back to the cage. Mitchel follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Gabriel Stark has been cut.
Stark closes the distance and clinches up with Mitchel, looking for a takedown. Stark pushes Mitchel against the cage but Mitchel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Stark here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Stark is really struggling to control Mitchel but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Stark goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Mitchel escapes and is now in half guard on top.
Stark moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Stark has his foot on Mitchel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mitchel works his way back into a safe position though.
