Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dodge Elusive (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MCJ Guti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Elusive has managed to clinch.
Guti is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Elusive gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Elusive gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Guti regains guard.
Elusive has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Elusive lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Elusive trying to control the position from guard on top but Guti is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Elusive is working Guti over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Elusive postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Guti is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Elusive, into his guard.

Elusive bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Guti's guard.

Guti has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Elusive can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Elusive wants to control from the top but Guti keeps moving.
Elusive stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guti swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Guti manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Elusive manages to get himself to full guard.

Guti drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Guti jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Guti thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Elusive kicks Guti off and gets to his feet.

Elusive fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Guti sprawls well initially but Elusive persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Elusive connects with a nice short shot to Guti's temple.
Elusive seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Elusive looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Guti is looking for a sweep. Elusive is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Elusive looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Elusive lands strikes from half guard.
Guti is trying to get back to full guard.
Guti wants to get back to full guard but Elusive has passed into side control.

Elusive goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Guti is on top in guard.

Elusive is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Elusive not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Elusive scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Guti tries for a takedown but Elusive circles away easily

and Elusive counters with a nice double leg into side control. Guti won't be happy with that.

Elusive is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Guti knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Elusive is looking to take a break and control but Guti is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Elusive tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Elusive has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Guti tries to improve position but can't.

Elusive stands up and beckons Guti to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dodge Elusive dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Guti shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Guti was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Elusive is looking to improve his position but Guti isn't that keen on the idea.

Guti has control of Elusive's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Elusive regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Elusive tries to lock up and control but Guti gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Guti is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Elusive can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Elusive stops Guti from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Guti looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Elusive is desperately trying to improve his position but Guti has a good base and remains in mount.
Guti fails to move to back control.
Guti is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Guti goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Elusive turns into him and now he's in Guti's guard.

Elusive slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Elusive thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
