Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zeus Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariusz Kawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kawa has chosen Nocarz as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawa shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl out of it but Kawa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Johnson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Johnson has Kawa up against the cage in a clinch.

Johnson breaks from the clinch.
Kawa shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Johnson eats them both and turns towards Kawa to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Kawa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Johnson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mariusz Kawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kawa closes the distance but Johnson moves to the side

and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Johnson unloads with some shots from mount but Kawa bucks and avoids them well.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Johnson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kawa tries to hold on but Johnson postures up.
Johnson breaks from Kawa's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Kawa tries to buck Johnson off but he can't manage it.
Johnson lands a big shot to the head and Kawa winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Zeus Johnson!
After the fight, Zeus Johnson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
