PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Terrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Indestructable. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Ray as Terrell shoots in.
Ray misses with a wild body shot.
Terrell shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ray pinned against the cage. Ray gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Terrell gets caught flat footed, as Ray shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Terrell throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ray escapes and throws Terrell's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Ray content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Ray decides to stand back up. Ray steps back and let's Terrell get back to his feet.

Ray shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ray was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Terrell is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Terrell is looking to improve his position but Ray isn't that keen on the idea.
Terrell is in a horrible position here. Ray smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Terrell is trying to escape the mount.
Ray is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Terrell can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Ray has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Ray is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Terrell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ray.
Terrell wants to get back to full guard.
Ray lands strikes from half guard.
Terrell is looking for a sweep. Ray is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ray is tying to control. Terrell wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Terrell is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ray's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ray's back!

Terrell is looking for the choke from the back position but Ray is controlling his hands well.

Ray looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Terrell controlling well, preventing Ray from escaping the position.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Terrell.

Terrell is working for a rear naked choke. Ray is not defending it well and Terrell has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Ray refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Ray's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
