The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Dam takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hunt dodges the punch combination from Van Dam.
Hunt drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Hunt lands a slapping body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Van Dam misses the target.
Van Dam fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Hunt with a nice cross.
Van Dam avoids the body shot from Hunt.
A slow jab from Hunt misses its intended target.
Van Dam misses with a jab to the body
and Hunt counters with a nice uppercut.
Van Dam connects with a nice cross there... Hunt is looking wobbly and Van Dam recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Hunt to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Van Dam jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kevin Van Dam!
