The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin shoots and misses
and Hume counters with a head kick. That will keep Franklin thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Franklin doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hume cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Rich Franklin has been cut.
Franklin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rich Franklin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hume looks to land a combination but Franklin avoids it well.
Franklin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
