Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sebastiao da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abbas Frnas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abbas Frnas looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
da Silva pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
da Silva tries to bum rush Frnas with a series of wild strikes but Frnas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Frnas blocks a head kick by da Silva.

da Silva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Frnas was covering up waiting for the punch and da Silva finishes the takedown easily into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
da Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Frnas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Frnas throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! da Silva escapes and throws Frnas's legs to the side, diving into side control!

da Silva tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

da Silva has control of Frnas's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Frnas regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Frnas is looking to get to half guard.

da Silva stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
da Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Frnas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

da Silva gets the takedown into side control.

Frnas is looking for a sweep.

da Silva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no da Silva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
da Silva advances nicely into full mount.
Frnas looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

da Silva is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Frnas has managed to escape the submission attempt.

da Silva goes for an armbar but Frnas turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Frnas.

da Silva isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Frnas stacks da Silva on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Frnas!

da Silva tries to control but Frnas manages to take his back.
Frnas is trying to stick to da Silva's back but da Silva is turning into Frnas. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Frnas's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by da Silva.

Frnas is looking for a triangle but da Silva pushes his legs off easily.
da Silva advances to half guard.
da Silva looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
da Silva wants to take a breather but Frnas is having none of it.

Frnas is trying to control but can't.
da Silva works his way into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

da Silva has hold of Frnas's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Frnas tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - da Silva cranks the arm and Frnas screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Frnas, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
