Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Thomas Boss!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boss tries to close the distance and clinch but Marker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Marker throws a head kick that misses
and Boss counters with a head kick. That will keep Marker thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
A low kick from Marker is predictable there
and Boss counters with a nice kick to the body.
Boss moves in looking to clinch but Marker pushes him off.
The fight stays on the outside here - Boss looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Boss tries to clinch up but Marker circles away and keeps his distance.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Marker lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Boss has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Boss and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Boss is trying hard to land a takedown here. Marker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Some bone on bone action there as Marker checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Boss lands with a kick to the temple. Marker shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"


It looks like Josh Marker has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Josh Marker.
I think Boss has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
