Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cosmo Fairtex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fairtex comes into the arena with Bad Company blaring out of the sound system. Kimbo Slice has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice swinging wildly here.
Kimbo Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slice misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fairtex looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Slice moves out of range of the body kick from Fairtex.

Slice fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Slice looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fairtex doesn't manage to clinch there - Slice circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Slice scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Slice lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Slice drops his shoulder and cracks Fairtex with a huge uppercut! Fairtex goes down! Can Slice finish him?

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Slice postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Oh Fairtex is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Slice postures up and lands a big shot to Fairtex's brow.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fairtex takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Slice misses with the combination.
Slice lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fairtex circles away quickly and effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kimbo Slice dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Slice connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Fairtex! He's out on his feet! Slice rushes in and drops Fairtex with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
