The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bayarsaikhan moves in looking to clinch but Macarenco pushes him off.
Bayarsaikhan cracks a nice hook into Macarenco's ribs.
Bayarsaikhan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Macarenco shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bayarsaikhan but Bayarsaikhan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Macarenco fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Macarenco looks gassed!

Bayarsaikhan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Macarenco, pushing him back against the cage.

Bayarsaikhan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bayarsaikhan throws a nice looking combination but Macarenco bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bayarsaikhan stuffs the takedown attempt from Macarenco. Macarenco gets slowly back to his feet.
Nayyar Bayarsaikhan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Silva Macarenco.
Bayarsaikhan lands with a nice combination. Macarenco backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Silva Macarenco has been cut.

Bayarsaikhan has Macarenco up against the cage in a clinch.

Bayarsaikhan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Macarenco shoots in for a double leg but Bayarsaikhan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bayarsaikhan tries to clinch up but Macarenco circles away and keeps his distance.
Bayarsaikhan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Macarenco tries for a takedown but Bayarsaikhan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bayarsaikhan tries to bum rush Macarenco with a series of wild strikes but Macarenco uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Macarenco drops his hands for a split second and Bayarsaikhan immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Macarenco face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Bayarsaikhan follows up with a right hand that knocks Macarenco into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
