Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adelso Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Angero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adelso Junior has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adelso Junior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steven Angero!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior shoots in for a takedown but Angero shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Junior fails with a takedown attempt.
Junior shoots for a takedown but Angero saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adelso Junior. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Angero fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Junior sprawls well initially but Angero persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Angero is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Junior gets back to full guard.

Junior throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Angero escapes and throws Junior's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Junior tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Angero wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Angero looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Angero gets to mount! Junior was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Junior regains half guard.

Angero is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Junior doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Angero.
It looks like Angero is going to stand back up.

Junior looking for a kimura from the bottom but Angero passes into side control!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Angero stands up.

Angero looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Junior is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Angero is tapping! Great win for Junior!
