Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kickin Rad!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gareth Edwards!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards thuds a left hand into Rad's body.
Rad fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Edwards.
Rad fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Edwards looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Edwards looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Edwards ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rad moves away.
Edwards digs a good body shot into Rad's ribs.
Edwards throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rad connects with a nice looking jab.

Rad gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Rad is stalling here.
Rad utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Rad avoiding damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rad lands a body shot in the clinch.
Edwards is trying to break the clinch but Rad has him pressed against the cage.
Rad lands a left hand that snaps the head of Edwards backwards.
Rad putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Edwards in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Rad stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Rad is stalling here.
Edwards has a couple of punches blocked by Rad.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rad tries a knee to the head but Edwards blocks it.
Edwards on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Edwards tries to circle away but Rad has him pinned against the cage.
Rad will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Edwards up against the cage.
Rad landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Rad pushes Edwards back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rad prevents a body shot from Edwards.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rad lands a knee to the body.
Rad digs a right hand underneath Edwards's ribcage. Edwards let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Stalling in the clinch from Rad.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Rad for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Rad tries to throw a body punch but Edwards avoids it by throwing Rad back against the cage.
Rad is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Rad.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rad goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Edwards tries to pull guard but Rad holds him up against the cage and eventually Edwards drops back down to his feet.
Rad lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Edwards tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rad's elbow.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Rad.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rad connects with a knee to the head.


It looks like Gareth Edwards has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rad creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Edwards's defenses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kickin Rad dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Gareth Edwards's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Rad walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Edwards drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Rad swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Edwards's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kickin Rad!
Kickin Rad retains his heavyweight title!
