Mc kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Choice Is Yours (This or That) by Black Sheep. Corven is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Escape. Baeddan Mc could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ashe Corven's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corven shoots in but Mc avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Corven stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mc swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Corven is pushing down on Mc's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mc is fighting to maintain full guard but Corven has managed to sneak the leg through.

Mc has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Corven is working away from the top position though.

Corven is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mc has managed to free his arm - good work.

You can see the frustration on Mc's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Mc is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Corven is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Corven wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mc, who protects the arm well.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

A nice inside leg kick there by Mc. That's going to slow Corven down.
Mc fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Corven manages to avoid it.
Mc ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Corven moves away.

Mc shoots in and bounces Corven off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Corven is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mc is aware though and is defending well.

Mc drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Corven manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mc has Corven in his guard.

Mc throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Corven escapes and throws Mc's legs to the side, diving into side control!

After winning the bout, Baeddan Mc thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
