The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mad throws a head kick but Hook moves out of range.
No joy there for Hook, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hook throws a low kick but it's checked well by Mad.
Hook throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hook stuffs the takedown attempt from Mad. Mad gets slowly back to his feet.
Hook defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mad.
Mad looks gassed!
Hook lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Don Mad has been cut.
Good exchange - Hook coming out on top.
Hook looks to land a combination but Mad avoids it well.
Hook lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hook stuns Mad with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hook lands with a shot to the body.
Hook misses with a double jab.
Hook will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hook throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Hook moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Mad keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Hook gets in close and tags Mad with a short punch that almost sends Mad to the mat! Oh Mad is in big trouble! He turns his back on Hook, trying to create some distance but Hook rushes him, striking wildly and Mad goes down! The referee tackles Hook into the cage to end the fight! Hook is one violent man!
