Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Curtis Richard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Davis!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Davis, as that shot connected.
Davis gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Richard counters with a single leg into guard. Davis didn't expect that.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Richard accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Richard looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Davis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Richard fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Davis sprawls well initially but Richard persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Davis is in a horrible position here. Richard smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Richard has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Davis's face.
