Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddie Venus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pink Pinky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Venus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pinky swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pinky had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Venus is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pinky Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Venus's back instead.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Freddie Venus.
Well Venus has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
