Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shom Harnick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Murray!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Murray misses.
Shom Harnick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Harnick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Shom Harnick is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Harnick shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Harnick showed some decent athleticism there.

Harnick stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Murray to get to his feet.

Murray fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Harnick to the ground. Murray is now in Harnick's guard.
Harnick is trying to control the position but Murray postures up.
Harnick is really struggling to control Murray but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Harnick wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
