Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Tebow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Oleg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Tebow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sebastian Oleg!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oleg gets a takedown into half guard.

Oleg seems to be working for a kimura but Tebow defends the submission attempt.
Oleg is controlling the pace.
Tebow flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Oleg is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like Oleg might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Tebow is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sebastian Oleg wasn't active enough on the ground.

Oleg feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Oleg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tebow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tebow tries to get to full guard but Oleg has control of the leg.

Tebow is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Oleg trying to control from half guard but Tebow is working away.
Oleg thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Tebow tries to roll over but Oleg keeps him under control.

Oleg seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tebow does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tebow shoots in looking for a takedown. Oleg tries to sprawl out of it but Tebow keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Oleg manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tebow moves to clinch but Oleg breaks away

so Oleg counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Oleg must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Tebow is trying to keep Oleg in close.
Oleg wants to control from the top but Tebow keeps moving.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sebastian Oleg was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Tebow looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Oleg shoots for a takedown but Tebow saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Oleg creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tebow sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Tebow tries to clinch but fails miserably

so Oleg counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Oleg tries to free his leg and advance position but Tebow is retaining full guard.
Oleg controls from within his opponent's guard.
Oleg throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Oleg looking to sit in guard and control but Tebow gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Oleg controls Tebow momentarily but Tebow frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tebow wants to control from the top but Oleg keeps moving.

Oleg is adopting a defensive guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Tebow tries to stand but Oleg is controlling from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Oleg displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tebow.
Tebow is looking to score with low kicks.
Tebow shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oleg pinned against the cage. Oleg gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Oleg avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

and Oleg decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tebow's guard.
Oleg pushes down on Tebow's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Tebow is trying to escape the mount.
Oleg takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Tebow slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Oleg takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Oleg wants to pass to mount but Tebow is defending the position.
Oleg thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Tebow wants to control but Oleg is keeping busy.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Oleg lands a nice short elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tebow won't allow Oleg to pass to mount.

Tebow tries to roll over but Oleg keeps him under control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tebow has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Oleg is working away from the top position though.
Oleg is pressing down on Tebow's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tebow is holding on for now.
Tebow wants to get back to his feet.

Oleg is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

We're going to have a standup here because Tim Tebow wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

and Oleg decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tebow's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Oleg engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Tebow wants to stand and escape but Oleg is having none of it.

Oleg stands and throws Tebow's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Tebow is desperately trying to improve his position but Oleg has a good base and remains in mount.
BOOM! Oleg connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Sebastian Oleg comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Oleg winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
