Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hagar Bolok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Baron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bolok comes to the cage accompanied by Slayer - Dead Skin Mask. Hagar Bolok has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hagar Bolok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robert Baron!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baron shoots in but Bolok avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bolok misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bolok sizes up Baron with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Baron dives in and scores a takedown into Bolok's guard.

Bolok working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baron doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baron manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Baron must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Baron stands up from Bolok's guard - Baron perhaps looking for a knockout.
Bolok tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Baron manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bolok tries to clinch up but Baron circles away and keeps his distance.
Baron shoots in looking for a takedown. Bolok tries to sprawl out of it but Baron keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bolok manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bolok throws a combination that misses

so Baron counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Baron trying to control but Bolok is working from the bottom.

Baron throwing strikes but missing.

Bolok looking for a guillotine here but Baron defends easily.
Bolok could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bolok controls Baron momentarily but Baron frees himself.

Bolok looking for a sweep. Not yet Bolok, not yet.
Baron trying to control the position from guard on top but Bolok is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bolok preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bolok is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Baron stays in close to Bolok's body and controls the position.

Robert Baron has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Baron throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bolok was covering up waiting for the punch and Baron finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bolok wants to get back to his feet but Baron is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bolok is looking for a triangle here but Baron uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Bolok pushes Baron away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Baron gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Baron decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bolok to his feet.

Bolok closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Baron's guard.
Baron throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Bolok got a little sloppy there for a moment and Baron has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bolok has managed to get both his arms back between Baron's legs - danger averted.
Baron tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Baron uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Baron slips a jab from Bolok.
Bolok blocks a head kick by Baron.
Baron tests Bolok's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bolok lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Baron backs up against the cage.
Bolok stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bolok wants it to stay on the feet.
Hagar Bolok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Baron.
Bolok throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bolok throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

so Baron counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bolok wants to get back to his feet but Baron is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

A head kick misses from Bolok.
Bolok throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Some wild striking there from Bolok.
Baron avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Baron tries to clinch there but Bolok circles away.
Bolok swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Baron counters with a three punch combo that has Bolok backing up. Bolok nods at Baron to acknowledge the strikes.

Bolok throws a nice looking combination but Baron bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bolok throws a series of punches but Baron avoids them all with ease.
Bolok looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bolok looks to land a combination. Baron sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bolok, right into the meat.

Baron closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bolok did well to prevent Baron getting side control.
Bolok keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Bolok pushes Baron off looking to stand but Baron dives back in and keeps control.
Baron has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Baron controlling the position easily from mount.
Bolok is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Bolok slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bolok is trying to maintain the position but Baron is very close to passing his half guard.

Baron looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Baron stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Bolok to get to his feet.

Baron lands a left and a right that send Bolok crashing to the mat, dazed. Baron thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Bolok is rocked!


It looks like Hagar Bolok has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Baron clinches with his opponent.
Oh Bolok is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Baron goes for a takedown attempt but Bolok pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Baron tries to clinch there but Bolok circles away.
Bolok seems to have got his legs back now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Baron keeps the fight on the outside.
Bolok tries to close the distance and clinch up but Baron swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bolok leaves Baron with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bolok is trying to break free.

Bolok gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Robert Baron showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!



Bolok moves into the clinch.

Baron pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bolok rushes Baron and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bolok tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bolok is trying to break free.
Baron prevents a body shot from Bolok.
Bolok is trying to force a seperation but Baron has the dominant position.

Bolok pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Baron changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bolok tries to avoid it but Baron manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bolok to the ground. Bolok escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bolok misses the jab.
Bolok takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bolok wants to get back to striking at distance but Baron won't allow it.

Baron has clasped his hands together around Bolok's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Baron decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Baron moves out of range of the leg kick from Bolok.
Bolok wants to land a leg kick but Baron is out of range.
Baron avoids a punch combination nicely.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bolok throws a left and a right that both miss
and Baron counters with a one-two to the body.
Baron throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bolok's waist but Bolok gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baron off to one side.

Baron shoots in but Bolok avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hagar Bolok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Baron.
Baron throws out a powerful jab.
Bolok misses with a looping left.
Bolok scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Baron misses with a leg kick.
Bolok tries to land a front kick but Baron steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bolok avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Baron.
Baron happy to just control the position for now.
Let's hope that Baron has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Bolok is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Baron has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Baron wants to control but Bolok is keeping him busy.

Bolok is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Baron is controlling him well.
Baron is staying tight to Bolok's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Bolok tries to throw a body punch but Baron avoids it by throwing Bolok back against the cage.
Baron keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Bolok's efforts to push away.
Bolok lands an elbow that stopped Baron in his tracks for a moment.
Baron is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Bolok fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Bolok's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Baron closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bolok's guard.
