Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldo Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jumanji Farquaad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza tries to score a power double leg takedown but Farquaad sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Souza somewhat.

Farquaad shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

A telegraphed right hand from Souza misses the target.
Souza throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Souza fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Farquaad tries to close the distance and clinch but Souza swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Farquaad is trying to control the action in half guard but Souza is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Souza is looking to control Farquaad's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Souza avoid being mounted?

Farquaad takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Jumanji Farquaad has got the better of the ground game so far.
Farquaad seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Souza does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Souza is in trouble now - Farquaad has advanced to mount!
Farquaad cracks Souza with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Souza is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

You can see the frustration on Souza's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Farquaad is trying to stick to Souza's back but Souza is turning into Farquaad. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Farquaad's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Souza.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Souza shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Farquaad pinned against the cage. Farquaad gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Farquaad has his feet on Souza's thighs here. He's pushed Souza off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Souza screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
