Rodriguez lands a left and a right that send Valinchenko crashing to the mat, dazed. Rodriguez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Zhujev Valinchenko has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rodriguez dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rodriguez throws a series of punches but Valinchenko moves out of range.
Rodriguez lands with a big right hook that stumbles Valinchenko - he's out on his feet here! Rodriguez follows up with another monster hook that separates Valinchenko from consciousness! Valinchenko falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Rodriguez stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

A determined Hurley Rodriguez didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
