Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hanson Tan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clay Guida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Hanson Tan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tan with a lazy takedown attempt

and Guida counters with a shoot takedown. Tan fights it but they end up in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Guida accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Guida has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Guida sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tan's guard.

Guida looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Guida around the waist but Guida pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Guida is the winner by TKO! Guida jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
