The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Renato Laranja has been cut.
Laranja fails with a takedown attempt.

Harris cracks Laranja with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Harris has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Laranja to stand back up!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Harris lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Laranja circles away quickly and effectively.

Harris cracks Laranja with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Laranja looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Harris finish him?

Laranja is rocked!
Laranja takes a swing at Harris's ribcage but misses.
Oh Laranja is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A telegraphed right hand from Harris misses the target.
Laranja seems to have got his legs back now.
Nice defenses there by Laranja.
Laranja displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Harris.
Laranja keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Harris.
BOOM! Harris lands a beautiful left hook that drops Laranja. Laranja tries to recover but Harris is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Laranja lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Alonzo Harris tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
