Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andry Nikol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Tapisht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tapisht comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Evanescence: Bring Me To Life kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vlad Tapisht!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikol cracks Tapisht with a right hand to the side of the head.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Nikol shoots for a double leg takedown but Tapisht sprawls well. He's pushed Nikol's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nikol lands with a good body shot.
Tapisht takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Tapisht bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nikol misses with the combination.
Nikol throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tapisht.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nikol misses with a body shot.
Tapisht shoots for a double leg takedown but Nikol sprawls well. He's pushed Tapisht's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tapisht tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nikol swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nikol fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tapisht, pushing him back against the ropes.
Tapisht has Nikol pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Tapisht pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending Nikol tumbling to the mat - Tapisht dives into Nikol's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Tapisht cracks Nikol with a solid left hand.
Nikol wants to get back to his feet but Tapisht passes into half guard.

Tapisht thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nikol's head.
Tapisht maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Nikol could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Tapisht has cracked it and Nikol is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Tapisht!
