Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tormento checks a low kick from Smith.
Tormento throws a leg kick that is checked
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Tormento thows a body shot but no joy.
Tormento lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Smith misses with a body kick.
Smith throws a series of punches but Tormento moves out of range.
A lazy body kick from Tormento
and Smith counters with a slapping leg kick.
Smith misses with a hook to the body
and Tormento counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tormento throws a lazy body kick
and Smith counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Smith thows a body shot but no joy.
Smith lands with a nice body kick.
Tormento missing with a left hand there. Smith was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tormento digs a good hook to Smith's body.
Smith moves out of range of the strikes.
Tormento takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Tormento is just out of range.
Smith misses with a low kick as Tormento jumps back.
Tormento misses the shot to the body.
Tormento shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Smith is bucking up trying to escape but Tormento cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tormento cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tormento. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
BOOM! Tormento connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Tormento looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Tormento looking to ground and pound but Smith is blocking nicely.
Smith is wriggling around trying to escape.
Tormento lands a heavy elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tormento wants to finish this one by submission but Smith is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Tormento.
Tormento thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Tormento lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Smith! Tormento sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Smith and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
