The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander swinging wildly here.
OHearon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
OHearon avoids a punch combination nicely.
No luck for OHearon with that takedown attempt.
Alexander slips a jab and a cross from OHearon.
OHearon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alexander's waist but Alexander gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing OHearon off to one side.
OHearon shoots for a takedown but Alexander saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan OHearon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
OHearon misses with a takedown attempt - Alexander sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Alexander throws a right and a left that OHearon avoids nicely.

Alexander is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

OHearon misses with a head shot.
OHearon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alexander on the ground.

OHearon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Alexander sprawls well. Alexander wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. OHearon gets slowly back to his feet.

Alexander manages to get an easy takedown there - catching OHearon on his heels. He'll look to pass OHearon's guard now, I'm sure.

OHearon can't keep his opponent in guard - Alexander advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Alexander seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
OHearon moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Alexander sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed OHearon's guard.

Alexander is going oldschool here, as he tries to force OHearon to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so OHearon shrugs it off.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Alexander has isolated one of OHearon's arms. OHearon looking to fight him off but Alexander twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
