The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lukas lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

No joy there for Lukas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lukas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Nieminen has Lukas pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Nieminen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lukas tumbling to the mat - Nieminen dives into Lukas's guard.

Lukas had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nieminen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lukas Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nieminen's back instead.
