The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sasquatch gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Scheihing gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Sasquatch shoots in but Scheihing avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Scheihing takes the fight into the clinch.

Sasquatch is pushing down on Scheihing's leg trying to pass to half guard. Scheihing is fighting to maintain full guard but Sasquatch has managed to sneak the leg through.
Sasquatch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Sasquatch isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Scheihing stacks Sasquatch on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Scheihing!

Scheihing has his foot on Sasquatch's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sasquatch works his way back into a safe position though.

Sasquatch got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scheihing has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sasquatch has managed to get both his arms back between Scheihing's legs - danger averted.

Well Scheihing has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Coltion Scheihing opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
