Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Chaia throws a right and a left that both miss.
Chaia lunges at Vasconcelos with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Vasconcelos's hand.
Vasconcelos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Chaia counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Vasconcelos!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

and Chaia counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Vasconcelos to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Chaia!
