Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barry Manilow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miklo Velka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velka is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cypress Hill - Insane In The Membrane. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Barry Manilow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miklo Velka!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Manilow tenderised Velka's leg. Velka is trying to keep his angry face on.
Manilow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Velka was well out of range. Poor timing from Manilow.
Manilow scores with a jab to the jaw.
It looks like Miklo Velka has been cut.
Velka has closed the distance and engaged Manilow in a clinch.
Manilow blocks the elbow strike.
Manilow lands a left hand.
Manilow wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Manilow manages to break the clinch.
A low kick from Manilow misses
and Velka finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Velka fails in his attempt to clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Manilow scores with a nice right hand.
Manilow lands with a cross.
Left hook, right uppercut from Manilow.
Manilow checks the leg kick.
Manilow thuds his right hand into Velka's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Velka throws a combination. Manilow tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Manilow tries to land a front kick but Velka steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A left lands for Manilow.
That has opened up Miklo Velka's cut even more.
Manilow scores with a hook to the body. Velka takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Manilow throws a lazy uppercut
and Velka holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Manilow is trying to break the clinch but Velka has him pressed against the cage.
Velka creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Manilow with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Manilow with a knee to the head.
Manilow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Manilow.
Velka gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Velka is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Manilow finds Velka's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Velka flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Manilow lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Velka will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Barry Manilow!
