I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jackson Fonseca was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fonseca's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Creed connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fonseca scrambles back to his feet.
Fonseca lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Fonseca throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fonseca takes a swing at Creed's ribcage but misses.
Creed throws a shot from downtown. Fonseca moves away and avoids it.
Creed misses with an uppercut.
Creed takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fonseca looks to throw the jab but Creed is out of range.
Creed moves out of range as Fonseca throws a body kick.
Fonseca dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Creed. That did some damage!
Creed swings widly with a right hand
and Fonseca connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fonseca thows a body kick. Creed tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Fonseca tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Creed manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

It looks like Apollo Creed has been cut.
Fonseca tried to score with a low kick but Creed checks it.
Fonseca throws a front kick that sends Creed stumbling back into the cage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fonseca. Creed does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fonseca clobbers Creed with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

enabling Fonseca to counter with a crisp jab.

Oh Creed is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Creed is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fonseca lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Creed - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Fonseca!
