Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Lindquist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Rook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lindquist comes to the cage accompanied by Wacco Will Kick Your Ass. Rook has chosen Mr Krinkle as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuri Rook!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindquist looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Lindquist lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Rook throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lindquist tries to close the distance and clinch but Rook swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Rook closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lindquist quickly recovers to half guard.

Rook is looking for a kimura but Lindquist is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rook to get the leverage.

Rook is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lindquist doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rook.
Lindquist is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rook's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rook's back!

Lindquist is really struggling to control Rook but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Rook rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rook is adopting a defensive guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lindquist wants to control from the top but Rook keeps moving.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rook escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lindquist gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rook has his feet on Lindquist's thighs here. He's pushed Lindquist off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Lindquist screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
