The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russell lands with a right hand.
Russell scores with a sloppy right hand. Killings should have avoided that one.
Russell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Killings's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Killings duly obliges.


It looks like Buck Russell has been cut.
Russell throws a right hand that Killings ducks under and follows up with a left that Killings also avoids with ease.

Killings moves into the clinch successfully.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Killings fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Killings wants a takedown but no success here.

Killings breaks the clinch.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Russell checks a leg kick.
Russell throws a head kick that misses.
Russell misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Killings.
Russell shoots in for a takedown but Killings shows good takedown defense.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice takedown defense from Killings. No joy for Russell on that attempt.

Russell tries to sprawl but Killings drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Killings frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Killings is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Killings extends the arm and Russell is forced to tap!
