Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between GRrinder Lovelace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeburdiah Zappatista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zappatista has chosen Kanye West - Runaway as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Zeburdiah Zappatista will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, GRrinder Lovelace!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zeburdiah Zappatista!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Zappatista darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Zappatista connects with an inside leg kick.
Zappatista throws a nice outside leg kick.
Zappatista fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Zappatista looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zappatista scores with a decent looking hook.
Lovelace takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Zappatista keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Zappatista changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lovelace looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Zappatista wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lovelace, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Check out the look on Zappatista's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Lovelace is trying to get back to half guard.
Zappatista in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Zappatista trying to control the position but Lovelace is working away.

Zappatista throws an elbow but Lovelace slips to the side and avoids it well.

Zappatista is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lovelace is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Lovelace knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zappatista on the ground.

Lovelace is trying to get back to half guard.
Zappatista working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Zappatista postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Lovelace is not content to let Zappatista control the position.
Zappatista lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lovelace down.
Zappatista in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Lovelace takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lovelace is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zeburdiah Zappatista dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Zappatista shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lovelace napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Zappatista wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lovelace keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zappatista looks up at the clock and then as Lovelace takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Zappatista smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Oh Lovelace is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zappatista in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Lovelace looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Zappatista turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zeburdiah Zappatista! Zeburdiah Zappatista retains his light heavyweight title!
Zeburdiah Zappatista spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a big arrogant.
