The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Saarinen moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off.
Lee throws a right hand that Saarinen ducks under and follows up with a left that Saarinen also avoids with ease.
Lee fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lee wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Joonas Saarinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee wants to clinch up but Saarinen keeps it at a distance.
No luck for Lee with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee looks for a takedown but Saarinen sprawls well.
Lee takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Lee closes this distance looking for a takedown but Saarinen circles away.
Lee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Saarinen but Saarinen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
