Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bembol Oblaks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Sierra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bembol Oblaks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Sierra!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sierra displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Oblaks.
Sierra shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Oblaks shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Oblaks looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sierra is fending him off so far but Oblaks persists. Nope, Sierra circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bembol Oblaks. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sierra shoots in and drives through. Oblaks sprawls well.
Oblaks slaps away a takedown attempt from Sierra, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Sierra closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Oblaks's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Sierra tries to free his leg and advance position but Oblaks is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Frank Sierra will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Oblaks wants to control the pace but Sierra is squirming around nicely.
Oblaks seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Sierra is holding on tight.

Oblaks is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sierra to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sierra shrugs it off.

Oblaks is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sierra has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sierra!

Sierra passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Oblaks!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sierra trying to control but Oblaks is having none of it.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sierra cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That was a close second round but I would say that Bembol Oblaks will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Sierra throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Oblaks's waist but Oblaks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sierra off to one side.

Sierra fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Oblaks avoids it really well and circles away.
No luck for Oblaks with that takedown attempt.

Sierra is having to fend off submission attempts from Oblaks, who is looking to sink in the choke. Oblaks doesn't have the hooks in though and Sierra manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

Sierra might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Oblaks kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Sierra is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bembol Oblaks overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Oblaks drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sierra looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sierra looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sierra!
