Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kuroda Atsushi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janek Kochanowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Janek Kochanowski will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atsushi lands a jab to Kochanowski's midsection.
Kochanowski moves out of range as Atsushi strikes.
Kochanowski misses with a few strikes there.

and Kochanowski counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kochanowski stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Atsushi.
Atsushi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Atsushi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kochanowski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Atsushi throws a strike aimed at the side of Kochanowski's head but Kochanowski avoids it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Atsushi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kochanowski to see if he's OK.

A big strike lands for Atsushi! That's really hurt Kochanowski and he's turned his back - Atsushi keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Atsushi jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Kuroda Atsushi took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Guilherme Alves is a little punk and my training partner Akihito Tatsuhiko is going to mess him up on December 17th!!'.
