Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Heero Yuy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Coma Black - Marilyn Manson. Santiago has chosen Get Em Up - Cypress Hill as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Heero Yuy has been cut.
Santiago connects with a body shot that sends Yuy's belly button to the back.
Yuy will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Santiago misses with a jab, cross combination.
Good leg kick by Santiago there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Santiago avoids a punch combination nicely.
Yuy throws a right and a left that both miss.

Yuy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Yuy moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Yuy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Santiago cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Yuy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Yuy throws a right and a left that Santiago avoids nicely.
Yuy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Santiago circles away quickly and effectively.

Yuy gets tackled into the cage by Santiago. Santiago maintains the clinch.
Yuy drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Yuy falls off balance throwing a combination
and Santiago counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Santiago lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Yuy backs up against the cage.
Santiago fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yuy manages to avoid it.

Santiago lands a nice shot that snaps Yuy's head back.
Santiago thuds a left hand into Yuy's body.
Santiago bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Yuy's head backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yuy scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Santiago gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Yuy tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Santiago avoids it.
Yuy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Santiago fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Yuy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Yuy stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Santiago.
Santiago tests Yuy's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Yuy is rocked!
Santiago lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Yuy can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Santiago and Yuy drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Santiago.
